For years, Crestwood has suffered from an unacceptable number of electrical outages. Now, PEPCO is participating in community meetings and putting forth an aggressive upgrade plan to improve the electrical infrastructure serving our neighborhood.

The 10 minute outage on February 3, 2007, was caused by an "emergency" which forced PEPCO to turn off power.
NEW REPORT! PEPCO has provided the May update on the improvements to Feeder 15197 which serves Crestwood and Petworth. According to the report:
Recent improvement work completed on this feeder has resulted in a significant reliability improvement. Pepco will continue monitoring the performance of this feeder to determine the overall effectiveness of the initiative.View the entire report in PDF format.
